I tried forwarding it, but the emails returned because of the format (which I don't know how to change), so I am excerpting the basic information sent. ******** 16 December 1805. Gideon Harris and Martha Gilliam This is Gideon Harris,, (who married Martha Taylor Gilliam) son of Lewis Harris 1730-1784 of David Harris and Jane Landy Harris. Lewis married his first cousin, Elizabeth of John and Mary Tinsley. Both David and John are sons of William Harris 1672-1743/Mary Giles/ ********* 24 March 1790. David Arnold and Patience Harris This is Patience Elizabeth Harris 1768-1818, daughter of Lewis Harris and Elizabeth Harris. David Arnold died in 1818. Lewis son of David Harris and Jane Landy. Elizabeth Harris was his cousin and daughter of John Harris and Mary Tinsley. David Harris was son of William Harris/Mary Giles *********** 27 December 1791. Edward Harris and Rhoda Arnold I have him in my records as Edmond, son of Giles Harris who married in 1769 his wife said to be Anna Gray Chandler and who had three sons before his death in 1775. He (Giles) had two children by his first marriage, a David, who wass dead, and Lattice who married Thomas Gray. Giles, 1728-1775 was son of David Harris and Jane, various names Harrison, Landy, widow Richardson; David son of William Harris 1672- 1743 and Mary Giles/Willis. This article of agreement, entered into this 22 day of March, 1797, between Thomas Gray, of the county of Louisa, in the state of Virginia, of the one part, and Ann Harris, administratrix of Giles Harris, deceased, Edmond Harris, Claiborne Harris and Obadiah Harris, sons of Giles Harris, all of the county of Prince Edward and State of Virginia, the parties of the other part. Witnesseth: That the said Thomas Gray, who has a suit in Chancery court of long standing and now pending in Prince Edward County, against all the parties mentioned in this agreement, giving up and relinquishes all and every claim and demand, right of title, to the property that he claims in the said suit, which was of the personal estate of the said Giles Harris, deceased, died possessed of, except the following, viz: The Negroes, stock of all kinds, or any other part of the personal estate which the said Giles Harris had in 1769, at the time he married to the present Ann Harris, now his widow, and which he held in his possession the six years thereafter, until his death in 1775. But as to the property that came to him by Ann Harris his last wife, the said Thomas Gray gives up unto the said Ann Harris, and her children Edmond Harris, Claiborne Harris and Obadiah Harris and shall make no further claim thereto.
