Caldwell Co., KY Deed Bk G, p 99 This Indenture made this 11th day of September 1832 between Thomas H. Flournoy of the County of Caldwell and of Kentucky of the one part and John F. Harris of the County of McCracken and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnefseth: that the said Thomas H. Flournoy for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to him in hand paid the receipt whereof as hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the said John F. Harris his heirs and afsigns all that part of a tract of land hereon as a military survey entered surveyed and patented in the name of William Smith, and conveyed by Peter Smith of Virginia to Jordan Harris now deceased, which is on the South East Side of Goose or Livingston Creek in the County of Caldwell, except ten acres attached to the Big Spring Mills with appurtenances thereunto belonging. To have and to hold the land hereby conveyed unto the said John F. Harris his heirs and afsigns forever, and the said Thomas H. Flournoy for himself his heirs executors and administrators the aforesaid tract of land and appurtenances unto the said John F. Harris his heirs and afsigns against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons, claiming by through or under him, and no other person whatever, doth and will forever warrant and defend by these presents. In witnefs whereof the said Thomas H. Flournoy hath hereunto set his hand and seal this day and year above written. Thomas H. Flournoy by his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned, which is certified to the clerk of Caldwell County where the premises lie for Record.
