    1. [HH] Thank you Ira!
    2. Dear Harris researchers: I would hope that no one wants to discourage the posting of the basic research information that is being posted. This is being done in a very unselfish manner and for anyone that needs this information it is absolutely wonderful. If you don't need it......hit the delete button but don't ruin this extraordinary effort for the rest of us. This information would take hours upon hours of work to gather but here it is at our fingertips, already typed in and all we have to do is hit the select all key, copy and then paste. What wonderful technology........but only because someone was willing to spend their time to type it into their computer in the first place and then send it out to us. My only regret is that I don't know if these are my Harris line or not. Maybe with the help of folks like Ira, I'll find out one of these days. Thanks to Ira and everyone else that shares their information. Chuck Harris .

    3. Ira, I was amazed that no one added information to what you posted across Alabama and Mississippi on the Land Patents. I did wonder if you thought no one was alive and reading the material in this area. I kept thinking I would find something on my Harris family that went to Alabama and Mississippi, but no such luck. So don't think no one was interested, as I read all the postings with interest. Larealia Camp

    3. I'll get in line behind Chuck. It's a wonderful service that Ira is volunteering. Like Chuck, my hope is that it helps one person. It will all have been worth while. I have no idea who my Harris line is before the great-grandfather, but someday...... Keep it up, Chuck. The delete key is a very easy target!! 3. I agree wholeheartedly with Chuck Harris. Many thanks to Ira for all the sharing of important primary sources from various early Virginia counties, etc. Anyone with early Harris ancestors needs to be aware of these documents. It is time consuming to retype all of these and to send them to the list. We all appreciate the information. This has been an unselfish gift of information for all of us. Thank you, Ira. And please do continue posting to all the Harris lists that apply. You may provide just the link that someone needs. We all can use the delete key if necessary (or get off one of the lists for awhile if need be). The important thing is to get the information out there where any and all can benefit. Ira, we appreciate you. --Glenn Gohr (Harris-VA & Harris-Colonial-VA List Manager)

    3. Hello Listers, Thanks for everyone's support of Ira's postings. Gee Whiz...that is what these surnames lists are for. I guess some people just want to see info about their Harris line and to heck with yours.
