Many of the records from the Cedar Creek Meeting House have been transcribed into book form and are available online as a FREE E-Book: Our Quaker Friends of Ye Olden Time, Being in Part a Transcript of the Minute Books of Cedar Creek Meeting, Hanover County, and the South River Meeting, Campbell County, Va., by James Pinkney Pleasant Bell. J. P. Bell Co., 1905. 287 p. http://books.google.com/books/about/Our_Quaker_Friends_of_Ye_Olden_Time.html?id=70W5XafR9W0C This work is also available at FamilySearch.org books online: https://dcms.lds.org/view/action/ieViewer.do?dps_pid=IE951315&vid=FHD&vid=FHD&dps_dvs=1350262199160~135&dps_pid=IE951315&change_lng=en As I understand it, William Wade Hinshaw also included the Cedar Creek Meeting and South River Meeting records in his 6-volume set on the Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy, which is available in many libraries. Mary Marshall Brewer also published additional records in her book, Quaker records of Cedar Creek Monthly Meeting, Virginia, 1739-1793. Lewes, Delaware : Colonial Roots, 2002. 205 p. I have found reference to some Harrises in DNA Group 20 mentioned in the Cedar Creek Monthly Meeting records. These are Quakers (of course) and include John Harris (Bet. 1662-1771-ca. 1745), his son Daniel Harris (ca. 1705-???) and grandson, Cornelius Harris (1735-ca. 1807). John married Mary Stanley, and the Stanley family is well-known in Hanover and Henrico Counties. Some other families listed which may be of interest include Cheadle, Chiles, Dabny, Goode, Johnson, McGeehee, Moorman, Stanley, and Watkins. Here are some transcribed records.
