This my Harris line. Yes, I think this Ransom was married to Susan (Sukey) Highfield. I'm not at my computer to look at the database, and I've been away from "this search" for several years, so I can't remember all the details. My documented info is Ransom and Sukey, Hanson and Marina Cole, Willis Nelson and Mary Bernard Conway and my grandmother, Lena Armistead. The information handed down in our family (including the people listed in this original post - Blackleys, etc) through the years is that this Ransom was the son of Ransom who was the son of Isham. Somewhere I have to find something to either prove or disprove this. Since there is a will which does not list Ransom as a son of Ransom, I'll have to figure out what happened - like a family split, or yet another Ransom. Can you see why I took a break!
