I am in the Harris dna group 8. I read all the postings on Harris Hunters and am wondering if any of our "posters" have come across the name DOWNEY in Amelia, Prince Edward or Pittslyvania. My Downey family went into Guilford and Surry (now Yadkin) where they intermarried with the Morris family from New Jersey to NC then on to Kentucky. Then this is where all my lines come together in Warren Co. George Overton Harris Jr b 1790 has daughter, Agnes b 1813, who married John Prather in 1832. They had daughter Eliza who married my great grandfather Granville Monroe Morris Oh My, things do get complicated. Mary June
