Did Ephraim Harris and Margaret Foote have a son Lewis Harris (born appr. 1810 Surry County, NC)? Lewis married Mildred (Millie) Naylor in 1833. They had one child - H.A.T. (Hillary Asbeth Taylor) Harris born 1835 and then Lewis died 10 August 1836 in Surry County. H.A.T. Harris named one of his sons Ephraim Drake Harris and I can't help but wonder if there is a connection. I have not been able to connect my Lewis Harris to any Harris' in Surry County as of yet.
