Ephraim Drake Harris m Margaret Foote is a tested Harris 8 DNA line. Because of the closeness of the Foote marriages, I am going to predict that James Harris m Milly Foote and probably Joshua Harris m Elizabeth Foote are also DNA Harris 8. Milly and Margaret Foote are daughters of William Foote /Elizabeth Barker. Another daughter Elizabeth Foote was also married to a Harris, probably Joshua Harris who lives in the same census area as Ephraim and James, and that Harris named his own son (another) Ephraim Drake Harris b ca 1816. Thanks Pat I know that Group 6 & Group 8 both have relatives in Surry County, NC. There are probably relatives from other groups in the county also. That's part of the "wonderfulness" of being a Harris!
