    1. [HARRIS-HUNTERS] James Harris married Susannah Gass
    2. A. Gary
    3. I think I have adequate documented proof that James Harris who married Susannah Gass was the son of Samuel and Rebecca Morrison Harris and is in Group 3. Christopher Harris did have a son James as he was named in the Will. In an attempt to once and for all correct this issue, I will be posting a series – starting with the Will of James who married Mary McIlhenny; some estate data, and a list of his children. This James was a son of Robert Harris and Dorothy Wiley. North Carolina Will Book C, pp 136-137 C.R. 065.801.17 WILL OF JAMES HARRIS State of North Carolina, Mecklenburg Co., Oct. 14, 1778.
