Please recall that I am attempting to delineate in these dispatches ONLY the descendant families coming from Benjamin (ca. 1698-1762) & Sarah Dumas Harris of Hanover & Louisa Cos., Virginia. I realize how easy it is to confuse all the various Harris families in Virginia, so I am trying to be especially clear regarding all of the descendants of Benjamin & Sarah Dumas Harris. [Clark Terrell MOORMAN, husband of Rachel, & son-in-law of Benjamin & Sarah Dumas Harris; Moses HARRIS, son of Daniel & Mary Hutchens HARRIS & grandson of John & Mary Stanley HARRIS; Strangeman HUTCHENS, son of Nicholas & Mary Watkins HUTCHENS of Henrico Co., VA; and John BARNETT, son of John BARNETT of Goochland?, and son-in-law of Strangeman & Elizabeth Cox HUTCHENS; Benjamin WATKINS "Sr.", son of Benjamin WATKINS, died in 1793 at Genito in Goochland Co. He had been an overseer of the Genito Monthly Meeting, and was replaced by Samuel PARSONS in February of that year {this book, pp. 11, 181.} He was a birthright Quaker, and the was most likely the grandson of Henry WATKINS of the Curles/Henrico Meeting {d. 1714 (Wright, op. cit., p. 7.)}] - p. 116: 8/3/1777.
