Source: Evansville Courier & Press Chrisney, Indiana Charles Edward Harris, 85, of Chrisney, died at 1:46 a.m. on Friday, March 19, 2004, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. He was born June 23, 1918, in Spencer County, Indiana, to Earl and Audey Velma (Hinton) Harris. He farmed most of his life around Chrisney, Indiana. Surviving are daughters, Mary Charlene Putnam of Evansville, Indiana, Linda Nollge of Osh Kosh, Wisconsin, Sharon Shreve of Tell City, Indiana, and Bonnie Blackwell of Chrisney;sons, Riley (Red) Harris of Chrisney and Donnie Harris of Owensboro, Kentucky; 19 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Harris of Perrysburg, Ohio, Roger Harris of Big Sandy, Tennessee, and Bob Harris of Hillard, Florida; and sisters, Ruth Carver of Lamar, Indiana, and Nina Mae Gerbig of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was prededed in death by his first wife, Reba Mae Powell Harris, in 1939; his second wife, Electa Skelton Harris, in 1974; two brothers, Norman Harris and Kenneth Harris; and two sisters, Irene Evans and Nathalie Kunkel. Funeral services will be Monday, March 22, 2004, at 2 p.m. CST at the Fuller Funeral Home and Crematory in Dale, with burial to follow in the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gentryville, Indiana. Visitation will be Sunday march 21, 2004, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Fuller Funeral Home and Crematory and Monday from 11 a.m. to service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
