Harriss. He was born about 1828 in either Georgia or Mississippi and died October 14, 1871 in Mobile, AL. He owned Harriss and Seymour Harness Company in Mobile. He married three times that I know of: 1) Mary Carlin on Nov. 1, 1850; no children; 2) Margaret Smith on Nov. 22, 1853;they had Mary [1854] and Edward [1856]; and 3)Sarah Mauldin on April 9, 1869; they had Richmond, Jr. [1862], Robert [1864], Ann [1867],and Florence [1870].
