I would like to know if anybody has any evidence showing that Nathan Harris (b. 1766 in either Brunswick, VA or Halifax Co, NC, married to Rhoda Champion in 1805 in Halifax NC, d. 1822 in Warren County, GA) is the father of a Gideon Harris (born c. 1808 in Warren County, GA - married a Mary Ann Aldred who was born 1809 in Warren County, GA - he died c. 1860 in Holmes County, FL). If Nathan was not Gideon's father, then does anybody know who Gideon's father was? Please respond if you have any information about the Harrises of Holmes County and Washington County, FL. I am conducting a huge research project and would like some help in getting around the one brick wall I have in my Harris line. Thanks! -Angela
