Hi Ira, I can add some to the #36 Jesse Harris. His grandfather, Thomas Wesley Harris (b. 5 Aug. 1868 d. 10 Dec. 1935) m. 5 Mar. 1894 Mary Stricklen (B. 15 Dec. 1873 d. 8 Jan. 1936) Thomas W. Harris' father Thornton Peeples Harris (b. 9 May 1824 d. ? ) m. 9 May 1861 Mary Elizabeth Brooks (b. 9 Jan. 1844 d. 15 Sept. 1881) I also have their other children if anyone is interested. The father of Thornton Peeples Harris was Dorrel Young Harris and his mother was Harriet Peeples Harris. Dorrel Y. Harris was the son of Claiborne Harris and Alice Young Hill Harris. Thornton Peeples Harris was a brother of my great grandfather Dorrel Young Harris (son of Dorrel Young Harris and Harriet Peeples Harris) I have the other siblings of Dorrel and Thornton plus the children of Claiborne and Alice Harris if anyone is interested. It has not been proven that the Jessie Harriss who married Frances "Frankie" Ward was the son of William Harriss and Henrietta Baker. I have personally looked in the records of Louisa Co., VA at the Salt Lake Library in Utah and found no evidence that William and Henrietta Harris had a son named Jesse. It is very possible that there is a connection of my Jesse Harriss to these Harrises in VA but I have not found the proof for this. My line is: Jesse Harris md. Frances Ward, Jesse S. Harris md.
