In the BLM land records for Alabama there are seven citations for Claiborn / Claiborne Harris. Four are for Claiborne Harris of Tuscaloosa Co., Ala for land in Bibb Co., Alabama. And the other three are for Claiborn / Claiborne Harris of Lowndes County, Alabama for land in Crenshaw County, Alabama. This was found in Pendleton Dist., S.C. records PENDLETON DISTRICT, SOUTH CAROLINA from THE CAROLINA GENEALOGIST, THE PENDLETON MESSENGER (ORIGINALLY MILLER'S WEEKLY MESSENGER) Volume 16: # 43, Wednesday, April 9, 1823 Claborn Harris warns all from cutting timer or trespassing on his Golleher Tract in Pendleton Dist. Harris lived at Tuscaloosa, Alabama, march 5, 1813 (1823 typo?) Can anyone give me information concerning the Golleher Tract of land in Pendleton District, South Carolina?
