I was amazed how many various Harris lines existed in my family tree. Although my surname is Cooper my grandmother was a Harris. He was born July 26, 1854 in IA, and died November 28, 1936 in Fremont Co., IA. Children of Florence Harris and William Fugitt are: 3 i. Ellen May3 Fugitt, born December 12, 1897; died April 1975 in Alliance, Ne. She married Fred Notson June 25, 1924 in Fremont Co., IA; born February 13, 1896; died August 1967 in Alliance, Ne. 4 ii. Oliver Townsend Fugitt, born June 15, 1900 in Fremont Co., IA. He married Hazel Virginia Bailey March 29, 1918 in Fremont Co., IA; born 1899. 5 iii. William Benjamin Fugitt, born October 18, 1907; died July 1908 in Fremont Co., IA. 6 iv. Wilbur Clarington Fugitt, born July 08, 1910 in Fremont Co., IA; died December 25, 1932 in Rockport, Atchison Co, Mo. He married Helen Lemore Parmenter.
