This information is titled: KENNEDY FAMILY, by Alma Lackey Wilson. She starts the article by giving some background on the Kennedy Family. This Kennedy family ties in with the Estill, Miller, Harris, Faulkner, Francis, Anderson, Irvine --- and numerous other Kentucky families. It then starts with John Kennedy, Sr. out of Rowan County, North Carolina. John Kennedy, and his wife Elizabeth, were the parents of John, Jr; Margaret; Thomas; Joseph (m. Martha "Patsy" Perrin); Andrew; Elizabeth; David; and Mary. Joseph and Martha "Patsy" (Perrin) Kennedy were the parents of Elizabeth; Ede; Joseph; Cassandra; and John. Joseph's second wife was Elizabeth Morrison. By Elizabeth, he had: Mitchel; Jane; Amanda; Cythia; and Patsy. Elizabeth Kennedy (1790-1867), d/o Joseph & Martha "Patsy" Kennedy, married her first cousin, Samuel Perrin Harris (1790-1863). They had nine children, but only four married and had descendants. Joseph Francis, who married Elizabeth Blanks, in 1842 Patsy E. Harris, who married Dr. Nickolas L. Fleming, in 1835 Thomas Monroe Harris, who married Margaret J. Henderson, in 1843 Mary Jane Harris, who married Solomon Caruthers, in 1849 The other five children are not named. This article is quite extensive and would be of interest to those who have several families in Kentucky. I do not research this family, but thought it might be of interest to those who are researching Kentucky families or Samuel Perrin Harris' descendants.
