Elias Bryant's daughter Nancy Bryant actually married Obediah Massey, brother of Warren Massey, in April 1813 in Patrick Co, VA . Warren Massey and Susannah Bartlett of Patrick Co were the parents of Nancy Massey, who married John Bryant in March 1829 in Rockingham Co, NC, with James Harris and James Gibson as sureties. John and Nancy Massey Bryant's son, my ancestor John Bryant, Jr, married Lucinda Stone in Patrick Co in 1859 -- Lucinda's parents were John Stone and Polly Massey, and Lucinda's maternal grandparents were Nancy Bryant (daughter of Elias) and Obediah Massey.
