I am not aware that the Harrises of Patrick County VA have been shown to be descendants of Capt. Thomas Harris. I have not been able to go back farther than the three William Harrises who lived there around the end of the 1700s. There was a Claiborne and a Sherwood Harris there that make me think they were related to your line of Claiborne "Ned" Harris. Charles Harris
