as indicated, per these laurens co, sc deeds,  the same land that silvanus walker, wife, sarah, and james burnside sold to francis lester and thomas wilkes, which bordered on mariah goodman, was, then, sold to james clardy, which, then, also bordered on stephen harris.   again, stephen harris, who also died in 1799 in laurens co, sc, was the son of edward harris, sr of twitty's creek of lunenburg/ charlotte co, va.   again, even though i had noted in the past connections re my william harris, sr/ frances goode and my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers both there in lunenburg co, va and on into laurens co, sc with both edward harris, sr there in lunenburg/ charlotte co, va and his sons stephen harris and edward harris, jr also on into laurens co, sc, it was not until both our harris family descendants participated in the harris dna project that i definitely knew that we are related harris families, who are part of our harris dna group 8.   also, whereas my william harris, sr/ frances goode is definitely shown to have had connections with edward harris, sr and/ or these same individuals there in lunenburg/ charlotte co, va, my wiliam harris, sr/ frances goode is also shown to have been involved there also in lunenburg/ halifax/ mecklenburg cos, va, also with william harris/ judith hudson and samuel harris and the individuals/ families also associated with them.   in regard to these connections and, again, as i have also talked about, mariah goodman, per these laurens co, sc  deeds, was the daughter of daniel williams, wife, ursula, who trace back to the williams family of hanove co, va and who moved through lunenburg co, va to granville co, va where daniel williams/ ursula died.   here, again, is the info from the lunenburg co, va records stating that my william harris, sr/ frances goode; william harris/ judith hudson; john wilborn; and/ or stephen evans were to appraise the land of daniel williams in lunenburg co, va.   the lunenburg co, va court orders book 4, page 171, states that both my william harris, sr/ frances goode; william harris/ judith hudson; stephen evans; and john wilborn or any three of them were to appraise the land of daniel williams in lunenburg co, va in 1755.   also, again, this lunenburg co, va deed showing that they were the same lunenburg co, va daniel williams, wife, ursula, who had also moved to granville co, nc.   lunenburg co, va deed book 5, page 239, 1758, daniel williams of granville co, nc to thomas tate of lunenburg co, va for 35 pds, 340 acrea on both sides of the little bluestone creek and bounded by william lidderdale; hogan's road; morriss; a new line. signed: daniel williams.  no witnesses.  ursula, wife of daniel williams, relinquished her right of dower.    here again is the laurens co, sc deed showing that george anderson sold land to mariah williams goodman, which bordered on sylvanus walker.   laurens co, sc deed book B, page 96, 1786, george anderson and wife, mary/ molly, to mariah goodman for 100 pds, 140 acres on both sides of norths creek bordered by james burnside, robert young, james cook, john milam, silvanus walker.  witnesses:  samuel wharton, charles sullivant.   laurens co, sc deed book B, page 150, 1786, silvanus and sarah walker and james burnside of one part to frances lester and thomas wilkes of another part for 125 pds sterling, 110 acres on norths creek, grant to george anderson and authur spence, bordered on john milam, ----- hardy, thomas gafford, james burnside, mariah goodman.  witnesses:  samuel saxon, john williams, junr.     laurens co, sc deed book F, page 53, 1795, thomas wilks and wife, mary, and francis lester to james clardy for 82 pds, 150 acres on the branch of norths creek, original grant to george anderson bordered on mariah goodman; james cook; thomas woodward; stephen harris.  witnesses:  john cargill; john chandler.  thomas wadsworth, j.p.   here again, are also the laurens co, sc estate sales for both our related stephen harris and mariah  williams goodman, and, again, a number of these same individuals who were purchasers and, like our harris family; the walkers; my rodgers family; the andersons, etc; all moved from this southside lunenburg, etc, cos, va area on into laurens co, sc.   here are also the purchasers of stephen harris' 1800 laurens co, sc estate sale:   laurens co, sc will book A-1, page 234, 1800, sale of estate of stephen harris, decd, purchasers:    braddock harris; john harris; minyard harris; william harris; james clardy; glannus winn; james polley; stephen smith; john burns; john milam; isaac medley; james holley; william nickles; stephen garrett; joseph griffin; abner teague; francis lester; john cureton; moses sanders; james hancock.   again, braddock harris; john harris; minyard harris; and this william harris are definitely indicated to have been the sons of stephen harris, and, again, stephen harris was a son of edward harris, sr also of lunenburg/ charlotte co, va.   this joseph griffin, who was one of the purchasers at stephen harris' estate sale, married mary williams, widow of col james williams as per the following laurens co, sc deed and he was the brother of mariah williams goodman.   laurens co, sc deed book B, page 358, 1788, joseph griffin and wife, mary, to james williams and washington williams for love and affection 434 pds, 10 negroes....two feather beds to be divided when james williams and washington williams come of age or if deceased to be divided equally among the sons and daughters of the late col james williams, deceased.    here is also the laurens co, sc estate sale of mariah williams goodman and, as indicated, one of the purchasers was minyard harris, who was the son of stephen harris and grandson of edward harris, sr of lunenburg/ charlotte co, va.     laurens co, sc will book C-1, page 28, 1803, mariah goodman, decd, sale bill of estate. purchasers:  clabourn goodman;
