yes, and i am very interested in this grassy creek area of mecklenburg co, va and granville co, nc re rev samuel harris/ lucy camp and memucan hunt. again, samuel harris and memucan hunt had a 1757 patent there in lunenburg co, va in this same bluestone creek area where both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson lived, which, again, was adjacent either my mackerness goode, sr or his brother william goode and also john wilborn and, again, both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris, sr/ frances goode were involved with the will and estate of john wilborn there in lunenburg co, va. as shown, land my william harris, sr/ frances goode sold to roger atkinson. which had belonged to john wilborn was in this very same bluestone creek area re this patent for samuel harris and memucan hunt. this, again, is the same samuel harris, who, like my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson, etc, were early in cornelius cargill's district, which became halifax co, ca and, again, samuel harris, as shown, continued to be very involved there with john cargill, sr/ rachel tinsley, who by 1770 had also moved to laurens co, sc where their cargill family continued to be significantly involved with my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers and my mackerness goode, sr's sons, our mackerness goode, jr and samuel goode. again, it is this same samuel harris, who became col samuel harris and, then, the noted baptist minister, rev samuel harris/ lucy camp, who, died in 1799 in pittsylvania co, va. memucan hunt, who married mary wade, daughter of robert wade, sr, who, again, was the same robert wade, sr and andrew wade, sr family both involved with samuel harris; my william harris, sr/ frances goode; william harris/ judith hudson; and edward harris, sr, per the info i have cited recently and previously, moved to granville co, nc and lived in this same grassy creek area, which e.w. refers to. samuel harris preached in this same area at this grassy creek baptist church. again, samuel harris told the noted baptist historian that he was born near the pamunkey river in 1724 in hanover co, va. the history of this grassy creek baptist church says that this richard harris and charles harris, who were long time members of this grassy creek baptist church, were the brothers of rev samuel harris/ lucy camp. so, which charles harris and richard harris is this info referring to and who was the father of this col/ rev samuel harris/ lucy camp and this richard harris/ charles harris of granville co, nc??? here is the info showing that memucan hunt was in this grassy creek area of granville co, nc and associates him there with this knight family. this is also indicated to be the same knight family associated with richard harris/ priscilla holmes, per granville co, nc deeds i will also cite. "Jonathan Knight & Judith his wife, Granville Co., North Carolina, Archer Pledge & Anna his wife, Goochland Co., John Redford & Unita his wife, Henrico Co., Pleasant Turner & Agatha his wife Halifax Co. and Perrin Redford & Susannah his wife, Goochland Co. and Thomas Woodson & Mary his wife, of the county of Goochland, (the above are daughters of Joseph Woodson, of Genito and their husbands) to Joseph Woodson son & heir of Joseph Woodson, of Genito, 325 a. of land on the Creek and branches of Beaver Dam Creek in Goochland Co. This deed is made to correct an error in Joseph Woodson's will. He intended to give his son Joseph the 325 a. land mentioned above. Dated Oct 25, 1790. Goochland Records, Vol 15, pg 79. Ibid. pg 1915. Judith Knight widow & relict of Jonathan Knight, decd., of the county of Granville in the state of North Carolina to Joseph Woodson of Goochland Co. whereas Joseph Woodson the elder, late of Jenito Creek in the county of Goochland by his last will and testament dated the 7th day of October 1783 after other gifts & legacies by him devised did bequeath unto his daughters then living all the residue & remainder of his estate not before given away among which was including all his real estate consisting of 325 a. of land on the Jenito Creek & branches of Beaver Dam in the sd. county, butnot withstanding the aforesaid residuary gift, be it known that I, Judith Knight being one of the daughters of the sd. Joseph Woodson the elder, and being sensible that my deceased father did always intend his real estate should after his death descend to his son Joseph Woodson all which appears manifest to me by his bequeathing to him a very small portion of his other estate and that the will is defective in that respect through default in the writer and not from any intention in him, doth grant unto the sd Joseph Woodson, son & heir of Joseph Woodson, decd. 325 a. of land, more or less, in the county of Goochland.
