as shown, hampton wade, son of robert wade, sr, who is shown, per the records of lunenburg co, va, to have been involved with samuel harris, as well as with my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson, married jane ellis, daughter of this john ellis of amelia co, va. this richard ellis, who witnessed lunenburg co, va deeds re both hampton wade, which, again, involved samuel harris, and who also witnessed deeds re our edward harris, sr on twitty's creek, is indicated to have been the brother of jane ellis wade. as shown, per the following info, jane ellis hampton re-married samuel perrin, son of joseph perrin, who, like our edward harris, sr, lived on twitty's creek in lunenburg/ charlotte co, va. again, these connections involving joseph perrin, as with a lot of this re these same families, are just so involved that they are difficult to totally and easily sum up period. again, joseph perrin, along with our harris family, etc, was also on the thomas partridge store ledger, in hanover co, va. joseph perrin, along with christopher hudson, witnessed the brunswick co, va deed wherein abraham cook, jr sold land to james hester in louisa co, va. this is the same abraham cook, jr, who in 1722 had a patent for 400 acres on the ridge between the north ann and little rivers, which was adjacent john harris, etc. “Abraham Cook Junr of Hanover County” patented 400 acres in Hanover County “on the Ridge between the North Anna and Little Rivers” which bordered John Harris, Edward Garland, John Perkins, and James Sutor." again, in 1723 a william harris also had a patent in hanover co, va on this same ridge between the north anna and little rivers adjacent abraham cook, jr and later a robert harris also had a patent there. again, given that both abraham cook, jr and joseph perrin moved also to brunswick/ lunenburg co, va where they continued to be involved with our harris family and/ or these same individuals and families, who were significantly involved with them, would certainly indicate to me that this was our captain thomas harris' harris line and family, who also had these patents on this ridge between the north anna and little rivers, which had been adjacent abraham cook, jr. here again is the harris info on these hanover co, va patents: 1723, also per these hanover co, va patents, william harris of hanover patents 400 acres in same between the northanna and little rivers, adjacent the land of abraham cook, jr and new market tract lines. then, again, the info also shows that in 1728, a robert harris also had a patent for land on this same ridge between the north anna and little river. robert harris of hanover co, va patents 400 acres in hanover co, va between the north anna and little rivers adjacent cook's lines, 1728. to continue with these connections re joseph perrin, per the info joseph perrin married rebecca ligon. whereas no one has been able to confirm this, thomas ligon did witness joseph perrin's charlotte co, va will. it is also shown, per these lunenburg co, va deeds that both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and thomas ligon/ joseph perrin were involved with thomas bedford. per the info, thomas bedford married mary ligon coleman, daughter of john coleman/ mary ligon, daughter of richard ligon/ mary worsham, son of thomas ligon/ mary harris, who was the daughter of our captain thomas harris and sister of our major william harris. lunenburg co, va deed book 4, page 213, 1755, william harris of lunenburg co, va to william reade of same for 900 acres at the head branches of the bluestone creek, bounded by a new line, william tibbs, william harriss' old line. signed: william harriss. witnesses: robert wooding; thomas bedford; william jones. frances, wife of william harris, relinquised her right of dower. then, as also indicated, thomas bedford also witnessed this deed re the same william jones to thomas ligon, which bordered on joseph perrin, for land on twittys creek, which, again, is also where our edward harris, sr lived. lunenburg co, va deed book 4, page 205, 1755, william jones of lunenburg co, va to thomas ligon of cumberland co, va for 90 pds, 300 acres in lunenburg co, va on twittys creek, bounded by joseph perrin. witnesses: henry deloney; henry blagrave, sr; thomas bedford. again, this was also joseph perrin's daughter nancy ann perrin who married thomas burton, son of james burton, sr, whose daughter agnes burton married james hudson, son of peter hudson, sr. again, the burtons are also shown to have been involved with sylvanus walker, jr there in lunenburg co, va and both sylvanus walker, jr and thomas burton also moved to laurens co, sc where they continued to be significantly involved with my harris family, etc, there. again, a lot more involved than this, but land my charles harris/ jane cannon owned in laurens co, sc on raborns creek, which bordered lydall allen, had belonged previously to sylvanus walker and had involved a suit with thomas burton. again, this was also joseph perrin's daughter who married james sullivan/ sullivan who also moved to laurens co, sc. i have not really gotten into, or again, but these connections re the sullivan/ sullivant family are also really involved, again, both there in this lunenburg co, va area as well as also on into laurens co, sc. in fact, speaking of joseph perrin and the sullivans/ sullivants, i have also found this info that joseph perrin became the guardian for samuel wharton. this is indicated to have been the same samuel wharton, who married maudeline sullivant and who was also in laurens co, sc and, again, involved there with the sullivans/ sullivants and other of these also of interest re our harris family, like mariah williams goodman, whose father daniel williams, ursula, had moved to granville co, nc via lunenburg co, va. again, both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson, etc, were involved with the appraisal of daniel williams land in lunenburg co, va. as shown, per these laurens co, sc deeds, which i have cited re the walkers in laurens co, sc, samuel wharton is shown to have been involved with charles sullivant there. again, also, this george anderson was the son of james anderson/ margaret rodgers of wards fork/ creek of lunenburg/ charlotte co, va and margaret rodgers anderson was the sister of my john rodgers, sr/ esq, father of my frances rodgers harris, wife of my william harris, jr, who died in 1799 in laurens co, sc, son of my william harris, sr/ frances goode of lunenburg co, va. laurens co, sc deed book B, page 96, 1786, george anderson and wife, mary/ molly, to mariah goodman for 100 pds, 140 acres on both sides of norths creek bordered by james burnside, robert young, james cook, john milam, silvanus walker. witnesses: samuel wharton, charles sullivant. to be continued: belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8---------26910
