The Flatt Cr. of Amelia Co., VA is still located there and would not be the same as a Flatt Cr. in Bedford Co. which was formed in 1753 from Lunenburg and Albemarle Counties. Is your Poole family strictly that or do they have a connection to the Pettypool families found in the same records? I've noticed several of the Pettypools are listed as Poole in the land Entry Record Book.
