again, this same memucan hunt involved with col/ rev samuel harris moved to granville co, nc and lived in this same grassy creek area, which is also where rev samuel harris preached at this grassy creek baptist church and this is also indicated to have been the same jonathan knight family involved with memucan hunt, who was also involved with richard harris/ priscilla holmes. here again, are the deeds that involve memucan hunt with this john knight/ jonathan knight family of lunenburg co, va and granville co, nc. Deed Book E, pgs 259 & 260 Feb 15, 1762 - John Knight of Lunenburg Co., VA to Memucan Hunt for 60 pds., 300 acres on Grassy Creek in Granville Co., N. C. Wts: Jonathan Knight, John Wade, William Knight. Deed Book E, pgs 260 & 261 Feb 25, 1762 - John Knight of Lunenburg Co., VA to William Knight of Granville Co., N. C. for 10 pds., 300 acres on Grassy Creek in Granville Co., N. C. Wts: Memucan Hunt, John Wade, Jonathan Knight. Deed Book E, pg 262 & 263 Feb 25, 1762 - John Knight of Lunenburg Co., VA to Jonathan Knight of Granville Co., N. C. for 10 pds., 300 acres on both sides of Grassy Creek whereon Jonathan Knight lives in a dividing line between Charles Knight and William Knight and Memucan Hunt in Granville Co., N. C. Wts: M. Hunt, John Wade, William Knight. was this, then, the same jonathan knight, who was associated with memucan hunt who was also mentioned in the will of richard harris/ priscilla holmes? as i have talked about previously, these connections re richard harris/ priscilla holmes and the lunenburg co, va families are more relevantly involved as well. this was the same satterwhite family, re richard harris to michael satterwhite, who were not only there in lunenburg co, va and associated, again, with the same individuals and families of interest re my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson, but this was the same satterwhite family of granville co, va re bartlett satterwhite and my mackerness goode, sr's son samuel goode, son-in-laws of joseph davenport who moved from granville co, nc to newberry co, sc. the satterwhites also moved to laurens/ newberry cos, sc and, again, the connections are also more involved with the satterwhites there as well. again, the michael mckie and daniel mckie family i have talked about and the relevance of their connections, were also very involved with the satterwhites in newberry co, sc on and on there are these connections that indicate to me that, like samuel harris/ lucy camp, that, at least, some of this harris family in granville co, nc like richard harris/ priscilla holmes, may have been part of our captain thomas harris/ harris dna group 8 harris line and family. again, in order to totally solve these issues of kinship, we really need to find harris descendants to participate in the harris dna project but, sorry to say, that does not seem to be proving to be an easy task at this point. again, my question for now is: when this grassy creek baptist history says that richard harris and charles harris were the brothers of col/ rev samuel harris, which richard harris and charles harris does this history refer to and who were members of this grassy creek baptist church there in granville co, nc? here are granville co, nc deeds, etc, for richard harris/ priscilla holmes.
