    3. again, the same memucan walker, who became the guardian for sylvanus walker, son of tandy walker/ judith langford of lunenburg co, va, and who also moved to laurens co, sc and whose sons sylvanus walker, jr and memucan walker were involved there with my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers and his brother-in-law, patrick cunningham,  also had a patent in lunenburg co, va with samuel harris.   this was the same samuel harris, who, along with my william harris, sr/ frances goode; my mackerness goode, sr; william harris/ judith hudson; peter hudson, sr, etc,  were all on these early lunenburg co, va tithe lists in cornelius cargill's district.   this was the same samuel harris who, as shown, continued to be very involved with john cargill, sr/ rachel tinsley in the halifax co, va area who, then, also by 1770 had moved to laurens co, sc and whose cargill family, per info i have posted in the past, continued to be very  and significantly involved with my harris and goode family in laurens co, sc.   in fact,  and as shown, the same thomas dendy, who sylvanus walker, jr, and who memucan hunt became his guardian, had the suit with, was the same thomas dendy who samuel harris had also sold land to which was witnessed by john cargill, sr/ rachel tinsley, etc and who witnessed a number of deeds re samuel harris in this halifax co, va area.   lunenburg co, va deed book 2, page 239, 1750, samuel harris of lunenburg co, va to john lucas of same for 25 pds, 234 acres bounded by cargill, staunton river. signed: samuel harris. witnesses: cornelius cargill; john speed, jr; john cargill, jr; thomas dendy.     of course, this is/ was also the same samuel harris, who william harris/ judith hudson sold the island/ plantation to, which, again, was also witnessed by john cargill, sr/ rachel tinsley and william hunt, who is indicated to have been also related to memucan hunt and possibly his brother.    per info i have posted in the past, it was my william harris, sr/ frances goode who also sold land to this same william hunt in this same middle fork of the middle bluestone creek area where, again, it is stated that this was where my william harris, sr/ frances goode lived and where they are shown to have consistently bought and sold land.   lunenburg co, va deed book 2, page 57, 1750, william harris of lunenburg to samuel harris of same for 60 pds, grants 1 island/ plantation of 70 acres, having been a patent to william harris april 5, 1748 and bounded by the staunton river and between byrd's and cargill's islands. signed: william harris. witnesses: john cargill, william hunt. judith, wife of william harris, relinquished her right of dower.   lunenburg co, va deed book 4, page 315, 1755, william harris of lunenburg co, va to william hunt of same for 33 pds, 236 acres on both sides of the middle fork of the bluestone creek, bounded by the swamp, miller. signed: william harris. witnesses: adam winders; "Wit: Thomas (R) Rise, (missing) Gentery Signed: Mary (M) Harris Recorded 1 May 1700" again,  this lunenburg co, va deed shows that land john wilborn sold to my william harris, sr/ frances goode, which he sold to roger atkinson, was also in this very same area where samuel harris/ memucan hunt had obtained this patent together.   lunenburg co, va deed book 6, page 541, 1761, william harriss of lunenburg co, va, planter, to roger atkinson, merchant, of dinwiddie co, va for 100 pds, 400 acres on both sides of mitchell's fork of the bluestone creek, being part of a larger patent of land to john wilborn on may 19, 1757 and bounded by woodpecker creek.  signed:  william harriss.  no witnesses.    again, per info i have also posted in the past, but will not re-post or go into here, this was john wilborn's son thomas wilborn, who continued to live in this same woodpecker creek area near william harris/ judith hudson and to be involved with these same individuals and families, including mark moore, who witnessed and was an executor of william harris/ judith hudson's 1778 mecklenburg co, va will.   again, mark moore also moved to laurens co, sc with his brother-in-law peter ragsdale.    again, i have also talked about these significant connections re the ragsdales not just there in lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va with my harris family, but that the ragsdales also, again, like our harris family, also traced back to henrico co, va and this was also peter ragsdale's family still involved with my harris family in paulding co, ga.   to be continued:   belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8-------26910
