thanks e.w. for this 1704 tax list.  this is a very interesting list.   i have noted that, per this 1704 tax list, which e.w. posted that the whole list could be posted but would have to be the entire list and did not know if harris hunters could or would take the whole list   so, i want to make some comments about those on this list.   as e.w. posted re this 1704 tax list, there were 3 willam harrises on it in this new kent co, va area, which was called parish of st peters and st paul, 1704.   also, in this same st peters and st pauls parish in 1704, there were: a benjamin harris;  a john harris; a robert harris; and a thomas harris.   there was also a william harris in king and queen co, va.   since our george alvis/ allvis is also on this list and in this same parish of st peters and st paul in 1704, one of these william harrises and this edmond harris, and interesting that he was called edmond, are our william harris/ mary giles b ca 1672 and his brother, our edmond/ edward harris b ca 1674, sons of our major william harris, 2nd wife, alice, who remarried george alvis.   i want to also talk about others on this list of interest to me but will do this in separate posts.   one of the things i wanted to ask is where are/ were the overtons, who are not on this list?     belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8------26910
