again, these connections are still also a lot more involved.     as shown, this land re my charles harris/ james holley bordered on lydall allen, who was the son of charles allen, jr/ lucy bacon and named for her father lydall bacon also of lunenburg co, va.   this was also charles allen, jr/ lucy bacon's daughter mary/ polly allen who married in laurens co, sc our john l. harris, brother of my charles harris/ jane cannon.   after charles allen, jr died in laurens co, sc, lucy bacon allen re-married charles smith and here, again, is the laurens co, sc deed showing that lucy bacon allen smith gave slaves to her daughter mary/ polly allen harris and her son-in-law, our john l. harris.   Laurens, South Carolina      Deed Book L: 64       I, Lucy Smith, Laurens District, South Carolina in consideration of the love and affection which I have for my daughter Polly Harris and her husband John L. Harris, and in consideration of the sum of $5.00 paid by William F. Downes, all of the same place, have granted and delivered to the said William F. Downes the following negroes to wit - Charles about 20 years of age, Martha about 10 years of age, Eliza about 9 years of age and Poll about 40 years of age in trust to and for the following uses and purposes to wit - for the sole use and benefit of the said Polly Harris and John L. Stokes, Young 8-23-1769; 12-13-1770; Lunenburg Co, VA W.B. 2/362   Mentions: Wife: Elizabeth Stokes             Sons: Henry Stokes, Sylvanus Stokes (Silvonus Stokes),                   Allen Stokes, William Stokes             Son-in-law: Henry Blagrave*             Daughters: Susannah Christopher, Mary Ann Neal, Lucy Anderson,                        Cecilia Stokes, Elizabeth Blagrave   Executors: William Stokes, Henry Stokes (sons)   Witnesses: Lyddal Bacon, John Davis   * "Henry Blagrave, the husband of my daughter Elizabeth Blagrave". again, so much of this is just so involved and multi-layered.     of course, samuel harris/ lucy camp, who died in 1799 in pittsylvania co, va is/ was the same samuel harris, who married lucy camp, and who  became col samuel harris/ rev samuel harris,  and he was the same samuel harris involved with both william harris/ judith hudson and my william harris, sr/ frances goode early in lunenburg co, va in cornelius cargill's district and who continued to be involved with john cargill, sr/ rachel tinsley and thomas dendy in this halifax co, va, who  moved to this same little river area of laurens co, sc where they continued to be significantly involved with my harris and goode family there.   then, this is the same samuel harris, who, again, like my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson, were also involved with the robert wade, sr and andrew wade, sr families, etc; the same samuel harris, who had the patent with memucan hunt in this same bluestone creek area which bordered on my goode family and john wilborn, etc.   on and on there are these connections and there are just too many of them and they are too involved not to consider that they are relevant.   here again is the 1799 pittsylvania co, va will for samuel harris/ lucy camp, showing that this allen stokes witnessed and proved his will.     HARRIS, SAMUEL D & W 11, P 222 D: January 13, 1799 Pittsylvania Co, VA Pr: December 16, 1799 NAMES: Son: Samuel- my lands including plantation lately occupied by my son, Benjamin.
