    3. here again, is the lunenburg co, va deed re sylvanus walker to isaac winston, jr which i want to continue to talk about:   lunenburg co, va deed book 1, page 97, 1746, silvanus walker of lunenburg co, va to isaac winston, jr of henrico co, va for 150 pds, 150 acres on the south side of  ****ing creek, now called modest creek, bounded by munford, john winn, evans.  signed:  silvanus walker.  witnesses:  lydall bacon; hampton wade; tandy walker.   again, as shown, hampton wade, son of robert wade, sr, also witnessed this deed and i want to cite or re-cite these connections also re hampton wade also of interest to me re my/ our harris family there in lunenburg co, va.   here is the deed, again, showing that samuel harris, as the executor of the estate of adlar david, sold land both to robert wade, sr or jr and to hampton wade, which was witnessed by robert wade, sr or jr and richard ellis.   per lunenburg co, va deed book 5, page 346, 1749, samuel harris, executor, estate adlar david, decd, of lunenburg co, va to robert wade 100 acres north of difficult creek and south of staunton river, on a line of a tree planted by adler david and william irby.  wit: hampton wade; richard ellis.   this was the same richard ellis, who, along with henry isbell, also witnessed the lunenburg co, va deed re robert gilliam to our edward harris, sr for this land on twittys creek in lunenburg/ charlotte co, va.   also, of course, as i have said many times now, both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson were involved with the will and estate of john wilborn and hampton wade was also one of those also paid by the estate of john wilborn.   this deed also shows that samuel harris sold land to hampton wade, which, again, was also witnessed by richard ellis.       lunenburg co, va deed book 2, page 98, 1750, samuel harris, executor of the estate of adlar david, deceased, in lunenburg co, va to hampton wade for 70 pds, 150 acres, being land adlar david purchased from daniel jaggars july 10, 1748 and patent to daniel jaggars feb 12, 1742, on the south side of the difficult creek and bounded by cargil's ford, willey creek, gum spring branch at powell's corner. signed: samuel harris. witnesses: robert wade, richard ellis. again, richard ellis and henry isbell also witnessed the 1761 deed re robert gilliam of prince george co, va to edward harris, sr in lunenburg co, va. robert gilliam of prince george co, va to edward harris of lunenburg co, va , hugh miller sold to john gilliam 1588 acres on both sides of twittys creek and it is provided in the deed that john is to lay off and to convey to edward harris at harris' expense 400 acres of the 1588 acre tract. john gilliam conveyed the tract to robert gilliam with the conditions mentioned above and for 5 shillings paid to him by edward harris have granted to him the 400 acres on both sides of reeces creek in lunenburg co, va. wit: henry isbell; william gilliam; richard ellis   also here again is the info showing that hampton wade was also one of those paid by the estate of john wilborn. in 1762, the estate of john wilborn, deceased, is brought to court by william harris, the executor, and the estate paid out to: john cox; hampton wade; roger atkinson; jacob royster; pinkethman hawkins; clement reade; gray briggs; william newsum; william harris; john ragsdale; mackerness goode, jr for re-surveying john wilborn's land; david garland. here is the lunenburg co, va will of judith walker, widow of tandy walker, showing that sylvanus walker had a bond with hampton wade, re the estate of tandy walker.   per the info hampton wade married jane ellis, daughter of john ellis of amelia co, va and this richard ellis would seem to have been her brother or certainly related to her.   ( see separate info i will also post re hampton wade/ jane ellis.   Here is one Hampton Wade - - Emigration to Other States from Southside Va., v. 1, Elliott, pp 46-47 cites an Amelia Co. deed, 1753, of slaves from John Ellis to Hampton Wade and Jane his wife. The deed identifies Jane as the daughter of John Ellis. The article further shows that Hampton Wade died intestate, apparently soon after 20 Nov. 1763 when he was surety on the mariage bond for marriage of his dau Betty Wade to James LeGrand (Halifax). Widow Jane Wade remarried M.B. 24 Dec. 1764 to Samuel Perrin, in Halifax Co.   1752, 29, February. Will of Juday Walker, widow of Tandy Walker decd. My real and personal estate to be sold at public venue at my decease and the money arising from the sale to be equally divided among my seven sons and daughters: Sylvanus, Tandey, William, Joel, Lankford, sons, and Ann and Elizabeth, daughters. At the age of 21 each of my sons and at the age of eighteen or on the day of marriage each shall receive one seventh part of the amount of my estate. Ex: Ludweel (Lydall) Bacon, Silvanus Walker and Thomas Dupree. Singed: Juday x Walker. Wit: Jas Scott, Henry Hatcher, Thos Williamson. This last desire is that Mr. Hatcher and evidence of this will have my eldest son Sylvanus at my decease, Tandy to Henry Stokis/ Stokes, William to Sylvanus Walker, also Joel, Lankford and Elizabeth to Thomas Depree, and Ann to Tyre Glen. Exhibited in court on 7 April 1752 by Sylvanus Walker, who first entered into Bond with Hampton Wade, Joseph Minor and Lyddall Bacon. Will Book 1:61. Lunenburg Co. VA   again, whereas judith walker's will stated that she wanted mr hatcher to be the guardian of their son sylvanus walker, the lunenburg co, va records show that sylvanus walker chose himself for memucan hunt to be his guardian.   to be continued:   belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8------26910
