here is info per this rootsweb site re martha osborne/  william harris.    as indicated, per the info, this was this martha  osborne harris' father, thomas osborne/ ann worsham, who died in 1755 in lunenburg co, va and whose estate was appraised by my william harris, sr/ frances goode; my mackerness goode, sr and his brother, william goode.   the worsham family is also shown to have been involved with my goode family and our harris/ ligon family also in henrico co, va.     this was also my mackerness goode, sr, wife, sarah, who sold  land in lunenburg co, va to reps osborne, brother of martha osborne harris,  per the following lunenburg co, va deed.   lunenburg co, va deed book 3, page 156, 1752,  mackerness goode to reps osborne, both of lunenburg  co, va, for 5 pds, 165 acres in lunenburg co, va on both  sides of the bluestone creek, part of a larger patent to  mackerness goode and bounded by the patent lines.  signed:  mackerness goode, with a mark.  no witnesses.  sarah, wife of mackerness goode, relinquished her  right of dower.   again, my mackerness goode, sr signed with a mark.  as shown, per the laurens co, sc records, his son, our mackerness goode, jr did sign his name.       Jesse BUCKNER & Mary Martha PYLE Descendants; And, A Few Other Folks...
