    2. Hi Belva and list, It has been suggested that I also descend from the Harris DNA group 8. HOWEVER, although my Capt William Harris married one Mary Hudson (and possibly an Elizabeth as well), and that this Capt Wm Harris fought in the Revolutionary War enlisting from Louisa County, VA but was married in Goochland County, VA (according to the Douglas Register) do you or anyone on this list have ANY clue who his parents are or could be? Mary Hudson's parents are NOT Peter Hudson or John and Elizabeth Harris Hudson as the dates are all off. My Capt. William Harris is generally referred to as part of the Hickory Creek Harrises.
