    1. [HARRIS-HUNTERS] re also harrison harris louisa/ goochland cos, va
    2. again, there were two robert harrises, who in 1745 who obtained patent land in amelia, now prince edward co, va, who i believe the info shows were robert harris, sr and his son, robert harris, jr and that it was the robert harris, sr, who was married to elizabeth poore, and their son, robert harris, jr, who was married to elizabeth morris.   again, the robert harris, sr sold his patent land on vaughan or falling creek to carol's thomas harris, who is indicated to have been his brother and, again, a number of years later, carol's thomas harris sold this same land back to him or to his son, robert harris, jr, who, then, sold the same land to stephen davis.   then, this is also indicated to have been this robert harris, sr's son, robert harris, jr/ elizabeth morris, who had the patent also in 1745 in amelia, now also in prince edward co, va, south of the appomattox river, adjacent henry chiles and he sold this patent land to harrison harris, who is indicated to have been his brother, who, again, were sons of this robert harris, sr.    then, later harrison harris later sold this land to lewis harris and giles harris, sons of david harris/ jane landy richardson.   according to the info posted by carol, and i do not have the actual deed, this was the same harrison harris, who was also in goochland co, va.   here are other deeds for this harrison harris and it would certainly seem significant to me that this harrison harris was in goochland co, va the same time as this william harris and his sons, sherwood harris and gilliam harris and whose daughter agnes harris married john cawthon.      Source: LOUSIA COUNTY, VIRGINIA DEED BOOKS C, C1/2, D AND D1/2 1759-1774 Abstracted & Compiled by Rosalie Edith Davis Manchester, Missouri. 1977 Pages 107-112. 13 December 1773. There must be another Humphrey Parrish whom I have not found. The only documented data that I have for "my" Humphrey Parrish line shows that his will was dated April 27, 1773 and proved Sept. 20, 1773 in Goochland Co., VA. In his will, he named his wife Mary (Walker d/o John Walker) and seven children: Joel, Moses, Aaron, Booker, Humphrey, David and William Rutherford the husband of his daughter Ursula. This son, Humphrey Parrish, is also my line. His will was proved March 17, 1823 in Goochland Co., VA. He married Elizabeth Layne in 1751 in St. James Northam (Dover) Church a daughter of John and Elizabeth (Ayres??) Layne. It is THOUGHT but not proven that Humphrey Parrish who died in 1773 was a son of Humphrey Parrish whose will was dated Dec. 28, 1740 and proved June 21, 1743 in Goochland Co VA. His wife was named as Mary and daughter Mary and son David. Witnesses were: Henry Martin, John Parrish and Brisse Parrish of Albemarle Co., VA. I would so like to find absolute proof that this Humphrey Parrish was the father of Humphrey Parrish who died in 1773. I am really curious about the Humphrey Parrish data that you have for I never found that in any of my search. The name Humphrey Parrish is too unusual to think that there in not some close connection. Do you have the deeds/wills etc. for the documentation that you found? Please respond with more detail. Thanks, Rubinette connections re this parish family there in goochland co, va and other connections are also more involved. to be continued:   belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8-------26910
