again, in the genegraph compiled in 1982 by kathryn wiggins', which, again, can be found in her harris vol/ booklet:  granville co, nc, re the family of our captain thomas harris; his son, our major william harris, wife, alice, who re-married george alvis; their sons, our william harris/ mary giles(?) b ca 1672 and his brother, edward harris b ca 1674-------   wiggins has that my william harris/ judith hudson was the son of our william harris/ mary giles, brother of david harris/ jane landy richardson, etc.   i cannot say that kathryn wiggins got all of this right, per this geneagraph, but i totally agree with her that this was my william harris/ judith hudson, who was the son of our william harris/ mary giles not because kathryn wiggins says so, but this is what my own research, per the records, has definitely shown and indicated to me.    again, the info also shows that it was my william harris, sr/ frances goode who was involved there with my william harris/ judith hudson early in lunenburg co, va and, again, this 1750 dodson survey for this land on wynn creek confirms that william harris/ judith hudson was the father of my william harris, sr/ frances goode.   again, this is also confirmed so far by our harris dna and, again, if another definitive descendant of william harris/ judith hudson can actually ever be found to also participate in the harris dna project, then, i believe that this will also be confirmed by our harris dna.   kathryn wiggins does NOT say in her geneagraph that our william harris/ mary giles' brother, edward harris, had a son william harris.   however,  given this william harris of hanover/ louisa/ and goochland cos, va association with the cawthon family and the depriest family and who are also shown to have been more involved with edward harris, brother of our william harris/ mary giles; george alvis; his son, david alvis; and the crenshaws, again, it would certainly seem to me that this william harris of hanover/ louisa and goochland cos, va was the son of our edward harris, brother of our william harris/ mary giles.   again, what i have said, and will also continue to say, is that this william harris of hanover/ louisa/ goochland cos, va is certainly not shown, per the records, to have been either my william harris/ judith hudson or my william harris, sr/ frances goode, who were in brunswick/ lunenburg cos, va and who were there at a time when this william harris of hanover/ louisa/ goochland cos, va was there in hanover, louisa, goochland cos, va with his sons, sherwood harris and gilliam harris and his daughter agnes harris, who is stated to have married john cawthon.   again, it is this william harris of hanover/ louisa/ goochland cos, va, who, like carol's thomas harris,  is shown to have been more involved with the depriest family and also with edward harris, brother of our william harris/ mary giles; the cawthons; crenshaws; as well as with george alvis and his son, david alvis.   to repeat, i cannot say that kathryn wiggins got all of this right about this geneagraph but whether in regard to this geneagraph or any other of this info that has been written about our harris families in the past, and which many times gets repeated whether it is right or not and/ or thought that it is right, etc,  needs to be continued to be seriously studied and figured out and, then, confirmed as to what and is not right about the info.     some times when a piece or even a chunk of the puzzle falls into place as it certainly seems to with this robert harris, sr and jr of st martin's parish hanvover, co, va, indicated, as i say, to have been both the robert harris, sr/ elizabeth poore and robert harris, jr/ elizabeth morris, son and grandson of our edward harris, brother of our william harris/ mary giles, then, hopefully, other of this info will begin to take more shape and fall into place as well.   carol, obviously, i  cannot say if this were your thomas harris, who was the brother of this robert harris, sr, sons of edward harris, brother of our william harris/ mary giles as this is something you need to answer and figure out yourself but, again, this is certainly what this info and connections indicate to me.       belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8--------26910
