    3. again, per my corresponding with bill brandon, who descends from john cawthon/ agnes harris, daughter of this william harris of hanover, louisa, goochland cos, va and who this william taylor of lyme, ct, etc, had stated was the son of our william harris/ mary giles, bill brandon stated that his john cawthon/ agnes harris had moved to granville co, nc.   rootsweb site by lavere peters, also citing bill brandon, states that this was john cawthon/ agnes harris, who were in granville co, nc by 1790 and that his john cawthon had witnessed carter hudspeth's 1796 granville co, nc will.   carter hudspeth is stated to have been the son of ralph hudspeth/ mary carter, who was also involved with the 1763 granville co, nc will of sherwood harris/ jane hudspeth, who is indicated, then, to have been probably related to ralph hudspeth and his son carter hudspeth.   here is an abstract of sherwood harris/ jane hudspeth's 1763 granville co, nc will showing that ralph hudspeth was involved with his will:    sherwood harris' 1763 granville co, nc will:   Source:Abstracts of The Wills And Estate Records Of Granville County, North Carolina, 1746-1808 by Zae Hargett Gwynn Unrecorded Wills, 1746-1771, Page 20 June 15, 1763 --- proved August court 1763 on oath of Patrick Brady and Ralph Hudspeth.
