Has anyone done or know where to get plat maps of people who owned properties in Louisa, Hanover, etc counties about 1700 to about 1850? I do have coordinates for the property of Malachi Ware but have no idea where exactly that is (not a surveyor here). I know my Harrises lived on Hickory Creek. Some other areas mentioned are Cub Creek, the Contrary River, etc. It would be nice to have some kind of a reference guide that has owners of properties in and around Louisa in order to help try to figure out who goes with who and the distances involved.
