Hello I think most of us realize that we can't prove who our ancestors were using DNA. But we may find out what Harris line we are from AND what Harris line we are not. Someone should tell those scoffers what we expect DNA to tell us. In my personal experience I know a few couples who have a child not fathered by the husband and no one knows but the mother. Do you realize what that will do to a DNA result? If you study history, especially royalty, most Kings/Rulers have children by a maidservent or other clandestine affair. This can really mess up a lineage when using DNA. Then you have all those adopted people many of whom are never told they are adopted. Things like that really throw the DNA lines akilter.
