again, carol has to decide and confirm for herself whether this was her thomas harris, who was the son of our edward harris, brother of our william harris/ mary giles and brother of this robert harris, sr, etc. this is exactly, though, what this info definitely indicates and shows to me and, again, the key to solving this was to learn who these robert harris, sr and jr were in hanover co, va, and who were involved with carol's thomas harris and who are definitely shown to have been part of our captain thomas harris' harris line and family. again, there has been confusion but we now know for sure that they were not the robert harris/ mourning glenn or his son robert harris/ lucretia brown, who are shown to have been part of the captain william harris/ temperance overton harris line and family, which is harris dna group 6. again, we now know, thanks to pat, per her posting and carol's follow-up that our robert harris, sr and jr, who, again, were involved with carol's thomas harris and who are definitely indicated to be part of our captain thomas harris' harris line and family, would have been this robert harris, sr/ elizabeth poore and his son, this robert harris, jr/ elizabeth morris. again, the info also shows, that it would have been this robert harris, sr and his son, robert harris, jr, who also obtained these patents in 1745 in amelia, now prince edward co, va, and that robert harris, sr/ elizabeth poore sold his patent land to who is definitely indicated to have been his brother, carol's thomas harris and that robert harris, jr/ elizabeth morris sold his patent land to his brother harrison harris, who, again, was also the son of this robert harris, sr/ elizabeth poore. again, i cannot say that kathryn wiggins got all of this right re this geneagraph she compiled but she does seem to have gotten it right re this robert harris, sr and jr and these connections. what she, again, does not have in her geneagraph is that this william harris of hanover/ louisa/ goochland cos, va was also the son of edward harris, brother of our william harris/ mary giles, but, again, given, as i say, this william harris' connections, like carol's thomas harris, etc, with the same depriest and rice family; the cawthons and crenshaws, who, again, were more associated with george alvis and his son, david alvis, this, who, again, were more involved with edward harris, brother of our william harris/ mary giles, is definitely what all of this info shows and indicates to me. again, this info definitely indicates to me that this william harris of hanover/ louisa/ goochland cos, va was also the son of edward harris, brother of our william harris/ mary giles whereas, and, again, agreeing with kathryn wiggins' per her geneagraph, that this was my william harris/ judith hudson of brunswick/ lunenburg/ mecklenburg cos, va who was the william harris, son of our william harris/ mary giles. again, and as i continue to say, any of this info written and compiled in the past re our harris lines and families needs to be seriously looked at and studied as to what they may have gotten right and what they got wrong and why we think so. again, these connections also still need to be confirmed by our harris dna project and, hopefully, at some point we are going to be able to find harris descendants, including another harris descendant of my william harris/ judith hudson, to participate in the harris dna project. for now, however, i want to finish up talking about what i have noted re these connections with carol's thomas harris with this robert harris, sr and jr and with this william harris of hanover/ louisa/ and goochland cos, va, etc. to be continued: belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8------------26910
