Deed 9 February 1730 John Harris of Goochland Co., house >> carpenter, to Daniel Perault of same, for 40 pounds, land on south >> side of Jones Creek, 200 acres at head of branch below mill, which >> Thomas Randolph bought of Robert Adams, and next to Harris's line, >> according to patent to Anthony Rapine. 22 June 1722. >> Wit: Tarlton Fleming, Pet. Jefferson, Isaac Bates, William Harris.************************************** >> Signed: John Harris Recorded 18 >> May 1731. >> Ursula, wife of John Harris, relinquished her dower right. Someone would have to look at the location of Lickinghole in relation to Jones Creek, but it would seem that Ursula Jordan was married to John Harris of Thomas Harris/Mary Jefferson, which is the line is correct, is in Group 24. John Harris did have a brother William Harris, but Wm was married (1) Martha Osborne (2) Elizabeth as far as the records go. ___________ I also see William Harris/Mary Nederland in Goochland VA but his lands are on Totier/Green Creeks. They do have connections with Farrars and look to be Group 7. **************Make your life easier with all your friends, email, and favorite sites in one place. Try it now.
