    3. Ira, What I can find is all listed below in the will of Robert Harris 1785-1786. The only person not listed is the Turner Harris and the only Turner Harris I am aware of was out of Bute County. You will also notice Richard Donaldson Cook at the end of the will. Mary Harris ************ This will was located in NC State Archives NC, Granville County In the name of God amen I Robert Harris _____ of the County of Granville being _____ weak in body but of sound _____mind and memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament utterly revoking all other wills testaments codicils of wills heretofore made by me. Item: I give to my niece Mary Harris daughter of David Harris one of my best beds of furniture also one cow and calf. Item: I give to my grandson Thomas Harris son of Thomas Harris one Negro boy called _____ also all the land I possess joining the land of Kimbrough Ogilvie and Thomas Wilbourn except one hundred acres which is to be laid off for said Thomas Wilbourn to him _______ _______ ____ ______. Item: I give to my daughter Mary Ogilvie fifty pounds current money to be paid out of my estate. Item: I give to my daughter Lemander Hampton fifty pounds current money to be paid out of my estate. All the rest of my estate both real and personal to be sold at twelve months ________ and equally divided amongst my sons Christopher Harris, Sherwood Harris, Robert Harris, David Harris, and Samuel Harris. Item: I give unto my wife Lemander Harris one Negro wench by the name of Phoba (or Rhoda) and all the property she has unto her possession now _________ ____ during her natural life __ providing she proves by good and sufficient witness that she had just cause to leave her marriage bed and if not the said Negro and other property she has in her possession to be taken by my executors hereafter named and sold and applied as I have dictated. ___________________ that all Book Debts due me shall be given up to the Debtors. Lastly I constitute my son Sherwood Harris, Samuel Harris and my good friend Col. Joseph Taylor Executors of this my last will and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 5th day of June 1785. Granville County, August Court AD 1786 The Last will and Testament of Robert Harris ? was duly proved by the oath of Richard Donaldson Cook and John Ogilvie and ordered to be recorded then Sherwood Harris, Samuel Harris and Joseph Taylor qualified as Executors in the said will.
