i have been trying to find time to also respond to ira re the harris and wilkins families per the granville co, nc deed he posted re christopher harris to richard wilkins but i am, again, very busy here today and for the past several days. granville co, nc is below and adjacent to lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va and although i have not focused on granville co, nc as i have lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va, i am aware that these were the same and related families also there and/ or connections re the granville co, nc families with the lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va families. this is true i know of this wilkins family and, in fact, this same wilkins family was involved with both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson there in lunenburg co, va. meanwhile, these connections are also more involved for me period but, so far, this still does not tell me if this harris family in granville co, nc were also related to my william harris, sr/ frances goode and/ or william harris/ judith hudson in lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va. this john hawkins in this deed re christopher harris to richard wilkins is likely my ancestor john hawkins. john hawkins/ mary wyatt were the parents of mary hawkins, who married my nathaniel bullock and who were the parents of my fanny bullock allen, wife of my george allen, who died in 1803 in oglethorpe co, va. george allen/ fanny bullock were the great- grandparents of my great-grandmother amanda allen harris, wife of my great-grandfather martin alonzo harris of paulding co, ga and who died in 1935 in atlanta, ga. again, these connections are still more involved. my mary wyatt hawkins, wife of my john hawkins, was the daughter of henry wyatt/ mary wynne, who re-married thomas twitty and this was also the same twitty family, who also inter-married with this same wilkins family.
