Cooke, Temperance Wilbourn, John Ogelvie. per this rootsweb site, col joseph taylor was the son of this john taylor/ catherine pendleton and this was his brother edmund taylor. per the info, this was col joseph taylors' brother, edmund taylor, who died ca 1808 granville co, nc but who had previously also lived also in lunenburg co, va. per the following deeds these were the same satterwhite and mitchell families, who had also been in lunenburg co, va, but who were now in granville co, nc who sold land to edmund taylor. these connections re the satterwhites and my harris and goode family are quite involved. joseph davenport, who witnessed these deeds moved from granville co, nc to newberry co, sc and he was the father-in law of our samuel goode, son of my mackerness goode, sr and also of this bartlett satterwhite, who was part of this same satterwhite family. i also want it to be noted that this earl bevan, who posted this info that col joseph taylor of granville co, nc, son of john taylor/ catherine pendleton and brother of edmund taylor, is also interested in the same blocker family re redding blocker, who was enumerated adjacent my archibald harris/ elizabeth carter per the 1834 ga state census of cobb co, ga. again, redding blocker was the son of michael blocker/ rosannah griffin of edgefield co, sc whose father william griffin is indicated/ shown to have been related to this anthony griffin, who was not only a legate of peter hudson, sr, but was also a neighbor on this 1750 dodson survey for this land in halifax co, va for william harris, sr and william harris, jr and which became a patent to my william harris, sr/frances goode in 1758 and who in this case was the william harris, jr on this 1750 dodson survey. again, both michel blocker and daniel mckie, jr were also purchasers at ellis palmer's 1800 edgefield co, sc estate sale and ellis palmer was the brother-in-law of my simcock cannon, grandfather of my jane cannon harris, wife of my charles harris. again, my charles harris had owned land in laurens co, sc which became the property of lydall allen, which had involved a suit with daniel mckie, sr. again, daniel mckie, sr was the son of michael mckie, who died in newberry co, sc but who was also from lunenburg co, va and, again, this same satterwhite family also of lunenburg co, va and granville co, nc had also married with this same mckie family.
