i would also like to reply to pat and e.w. re info they have posted re this robert harris, sr/ jr and richard harris in hanover co, va but before i do this, as again, this is all quite involved, i want to thank mary june for asking about me recently.   as i have already emailed her, i am just very busy with my own family here these days.   however, when i have had a chance, i still continue to look at and to study all of this and, in fact, i was just fixing to come on and post further info re this redding blocker enumerated adjacent my arch harris/ elizabeth carter, per this 1834 ga state census for cobb co, ga, which show that these connections also go back to this same lunenburg/ halifax co, va area and involve the same rickman family, who were also involved with the william harris/ wife, elizabeth, or jane, who pat seaver and sandy hart of harris dna group 30 are interested in as being their harris ancestor.   again, this is also defintely a puzzle to me why we, per our interest in our harris families, would  have such an involved and mutual interest in these same individuals and families, which, of course, includes peter hudson, sr and his family.   to me, there must be some answers to this but before i post that info, i want to talk again about this info that pat and e.w. just posted re this richard harris, and william harris, etc, there in hanover co, va, which i have also talked  about in the past.   in particular, and to sort of sum this up re these connections, as, again, this is  very involved, i want to deal in particular with this 1735 hanover co, va processioning record which pat just posted which involves this william harris and richard harris with this robert wade and ralph hunt, etc.   these were the same robert wade, sr and ralph hunt, who also moved to or had connections also to lunenburg co, va.   again, this was ralph hunt's son memucan hunt, who married mary wade, daughter of robert wade, sr, and this info has been documented and can be found on line.    memucan hunt was also involved there in lunenburg co, va with samuel harris and they are shown to have had a patent there together.   this is shown to have been the same samuel harris, who william harris/ judith hudson sold land to there in 1750 in lunnburg co, va and who continued to be involved with john cargill, sr/ rachel tinsley in this halifax co, va area.  again, john cargill, sr/ rachel tinsley also moved to laurens co, sc by 1770 and continued to be involved with my harris and goode family there.     memucan hunt also became the guardian of sylvanus walker, jr, who was actually the son of tandy walker/ judith langford, who both died ca 1750 there in lunenburg co, va.   this was also the same sylvanus walker, jr, who also moved to laurens co, sc and, again, who was also involved with my harris family and these same families there.   sylvanus walker, jr was one of the appraisers of my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers 1800 laurens co, sc estate.   lunenburg co, va deeds show that sylvanus walker, jr was involved there with charles allen, sr and james burton, sr, whose son thomas burton also moved to laurens co, sc and land that my charles harris/ jane cannon owned in laurens co, sc also involved sylvanus walker; lydall allen; and thomas burton.   memucan hunt moved to granville co, nc and deeds involve him there with this grassy creek area.  this same samuel harris, who, again, is indicated to have been the same samuel harris, who became col samuel harris and rev samuel harris also preached at this grassy creek baptist church and this is stated to have been his related harris family who were members of this grassy creek baptist church.   of course, samuel harris, as rev samuel harris, stated that he was born in 1724 near the pamunkey river in hanover co, va.   again, i have a lot more to say and/ or to repeat but i think these connections are important and they need to be looked at again and that any and all of this info re our interest in our harris families needs to continue to be looked at and to be studied.   our harris dna has changed and will continue to both change and hopefully clear up things that have been written and thought in the past that have been and are now in error but, again, it seems to me that we can also continue to look at and to try and make sense of what we do know or think we know and what these records do show and indicate.     belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8-------26910
