    3. again, the same memucan hunt, son of ralph hunt, who married mary wade, daughter of robert wade, sr and who were the same robert wade, sr and ralph hunt involved in this 1735 hanover co, va processioning record in hanover co, va with william harris and richard harris there, was also very involved with samuel harris also in lunenburg/ halifax co, va,    this was the same samuel harris, who sold land to robert wade, sr, which was witnessed by hampton wade and richard ellis, who were also involved with our edward harris, sr and with both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson, etc, there in lunenburg co, va.   as i have just shown, samuel harris sold land to thomas dendy and this same thomas dendy, who also moved to laurens co, sc, was involved in this suit with memucan hunt re sylvanus walker, jr chosing memucan hunt as his guardian.   sylvanus walker, jr, who was called "jr" in this lunenburg co, va area was actually the son of tandy walker, wife, judith, who both died ca 1750 in lunenburg co, va and this sylvanus walker, jr also moved to laurens co, sc and, again, connections there also very involved with him and my harris family.   again, sylvanus walker, jr was one of the appraisers of my william harris, jr's 1800 laurens co, sc estate.   also, land my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers' son, my charles harris/ jane cannon owned in laurens co, sc bounded on this same sylvanus walker, jr, and, again, all of this also still more involved.   again, this thomas burton named also in this deed involving my charles harris/ jane cannon; lydall allen; and sylvanus walker, jr, was the same thomas burton, son of james burton, sr, also of lunenburg co, va whose daughter agnes burton married james hudson, son of peter hudson, sr.   these lunenburg co, va deeds records, which, again, i have posted in the past connect james burton, sr with peter hudson, sr as well as with sylvanus walker, jr and charles allen, sr there.   again, this was also charles allen, jr/ lucy bacon allen smiths daughter mary/ polly allen who also married our john harris, brother of my charles harris/ jane cannon, children of our william harris, jr/ frances rodgers.   laurens co, sc deed book J, page 64, 1809, john clark, sheriff, to james holley and charles harris for $53, 150 acres former property of silvanus walker on raborn creek bordered on jonathan downs; lydall allen; robert creswell, sold by writ of fi fa at suit of exix and exor of thomas burton, deceased.  witnesses:  william irby;  john mc harg; john garlington, c.c   lunenburg co, va deed book 6, page 107, 1760, silvanus walker, jr of lunenburg co, va and his wife, sarah, to charles allen of same for 250 pds, 200 acres in lunenburg co, va on the north side of the staunton river bounded by ornsby; goode.  signed: silvanus walker, jr.  witnesses:  william perry; james burton, jr; mary perry, her mark.  sarah, wife of silvanus walker, jr, relinquised her dower rights.   lunenburg co, va deed book 6, page 121, 1760, james burton of lunenburg co, va to silvanus walker, jr of same for 100 pds, 200 acres on the north side of the staunton river and bounded by ornsby and goode.  signed:  james burton.  witnesses:  charles allen, william perry.  mary perry, her mark. judith, wife of james burton, reliquished her dower rights.   here is also again, the laurens co, sc deed showing that our john harris was the son-in-law of lucy bacon allen, widow of charles allen, jr, who had remarried charles smith.      Laurens, South Carolina      Deed Book L: 64      I, Lucy Smith, Laurens District, South Carolina in consideration of the love and affection which I have for my daughter Polly Harris and her husband John L. Harris, and in consideration of the sum of $5.00 paid by William F. Downes, all of the same place, have granted and delivered to the said William F. Downes the following negroes to wit - Charles about 20 years of age, Martha about 10 years of age, Eliza about 9 years of age and Poll about 40 years of age in trust to and for the following uses and purposes to wit - for the sole use and benefit of the said Polly Harris and John L. Harris or the survivors of them during their lives except the girl Poll and Eliz which I reserve for the use and benefit of myself during my life and after my death and the death of the said John L.
