Hi All, I just wanted to throw this out for anyone to respond too. Has anyone provided DNA through the Jesse Harris/Frances Ward line of Rowan Co., VA, and, if so, have they been connected to any of the Harrises of Louisa Co., VA. There has always been speculation that Jesse Harris was a son of William Harris/Henrietta Baker but I have seen no concrete proof of that. In a deed from Rowan Co., NC for a Augustine Davenport and wife Mary Harris, a note was added that a Jesse Harris came from Louisa Co., VA to Rowan Co., NC with Augustine and Mary Davenport.
