    3. again, the william harris, who was in brunswick co, va in 1743, i believe was william harris/ judith hudson and that he was the father of my william harris, sr/ frances goode, who were both, along with my mackerness goode, sr, etc, on this 1749 lunenburg co, va tithe list in cornelius cargills district and the same william harris, sr and jr, per this 1750 dodson survey for this land on wynn creek, which became a patent to my william harris, sr/ frances goode in 1758.   again, as shown, per this 1743 brunswick co, va deed, william harris sold this louisa co, va land to stephen harris of st martin's parish in hanover co, va.   Louisa County Court 12th day of September 1743, page 73, An Indenture made between William Harris of Brunswick County of the one part and Stephen Harris of Saint Martin’s Parish in the County of Hanover of the other part concerning sixty two acres of land lying in the parish of Fredericksville in this County with a Memorandum of Livery of Seisin and Receipt thereon endorsed ws this day in open Court proved to be the act and deed of the said William Harris by the Oaths of James Waddy, Richard Donalson and John Adams witnesses thereto and admitted to Record. Louisa County Order Book, 1742-1743, page 41-42   this is definitely indicated/ shown to have been the same stephen harris, who was also associated with pat clare's husband, tom harris' ancestor david harris/ jane landy richardson, per the following hanover co, va deed:     Book A, p. 256-257.  20 Oct 1746  David Harris of St. Martin ’s Par., Hanover Co., to Israel Snead of same. £65.  253 acres on south side of Cubb Creek; part of a tract granted to William Harris by patent 24 Mar 1725.  David Harris Wit: Jno. Pryor, John Snead, Stephen (S) Harris, Samuel Snead. 25 Nov 1746 proved by oaths of John Snead, Stephen Harris and Samuel Snead. Jane, the wife of sd. Harris relinquished her right of dower.   he is also indicated to have been the same stephen harris, who was also involved with carol's thomas harris; robert harris; this stephen davis; and the depriest family per also the following hanover co, va deeds: 23 June 1748 Robert Harris of St. Martin Parish, Hanover County to Thomas Harris of same for £25, 400 acres in Amelia County on the south side of the North fork of Falling Creek. Bounded by: Randolph ’s line, Harden’s line. Robert Harris Witnesses: George Harris, Stephen Harris, Harrison Deprieart ( Depriest  ) (Amelia County Deed Book 3, page 92-94)   again, this same land that this robert harris of st martin's parish, hanover co, va sold to carol's thomas harris, her thomas harris/ sabra sold back to this robert harris or his son, robert harris, jr in 1763.   In 1763, Thomas Harris, Jr. and wife, Saborey (Sabra) of Louisa Co., Va sell 400a tract for 70 pounds (south side of North Fork of Falling Creek) in Prince Edward to Robt Harris of Hanover. Sabra could not attend to relinquish dower rights so Wm Johnson and Nicholas Johnson, Justices of the Peace of Louisa Co. went there to do it for her. (Prince Edward Deed Bk 2, p16 dtd 16 May 1763) Note: This is my Thomas Harris.   then, again, this robert harris, sr or jr, wife, elizabeth, sold this same land in 1771 to stephen davis, which, again, was also witnessed by the depriest and crenshaw family.     Prince Edward Co., VA, DB 4, p. 73-75, 1 July 1771 This indenture made this thirty first day of July in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred seventy one between Robert Harris and Elizabeth his wife of St. Martins Parish in the county of Hanover of the one part and Stephen Davis of parish and county above said of the other part, witnesseth that the said Robert Harris and Elizabeth his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds current money of Virginia to them in hand paid by the said Stephen Davis the receipt whereof they the said Robert Harris and Elizth his wife doth hereby acknowledge that they the said Robert Harris and Elizabeth his wife have granted bargained sold aliened and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien and confirm unto the said Stephen Davis his heirs and assigns forever one certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Prince Edward on Lockets Creek the south side, and bounded as followeth to wit, beginning at the said Lockets Creek in Randolph’s line thence along his line west 9 degrees north 97 poles to his corner red oak, thence south six degrees east sixty poles to said Davis corner thence along his line west 14 degrees south two hundred and fifty six poles to his corner, thence north two hundred and two poles to a corner ash on the said Lockets Creek and thence down the said creek as it meanders to the beginning, including four hundred acres of land as by the patent appears, be the same more or less and also all trees underwoods profits commodities ......... said Robert Harris & Elizabeth his wife for themselves and their heirs and assigns doth warrant and will forever defend by these presents the right and title of the said land and premises above mentioned to the said Stephen Davis his heirs and assigns forever by these presents. In witness whereof the said Robert Harris and Elizabeth his wife hath set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above written.
