again, the same robert wade, sr and ralph hunt involved in this 1735 hanover co, va processioning record with richard harris and william harris there were the same robert wade, sr and ralph hunt, who also either moved to or had connections to lunenburg/ halifax co, va. again, memucan hunt, son of ralph hunt, married mary wade, daughter of robert wade, sr and this was the same memucan hunt, who also had a patent there with samuel harris, which was in this same bluestone creek area and which bordered on john wilborn. again both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson were involved with the will and estate of john wilborn. again, even though john wilborn's land is shown to have been in this same woodpecker creek area of lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va where william harris/ judith hudson lived and his son thomas wilborn continued to be involved with them, it was my william harris, sr/ frances goode, who was actually the excecutor of john wilborn's will and estate. here, again, is the patent that samuel harris had with memucan hunt, which bordered on john wilborn, and again also the info showing that both my william harris/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson were involved with the will and estate of john wilborn. from wiggins': harris papers: lunenburg co, va: land patents and grants: whereas memucan hunt and samuel harris patented 3,750 acres on the bluestone creek september 6, 1757 and as they, and alexander robertson and his wife, martha, in whom the rights became vested have not cultivated it nor paid quit rents, and as benjamin hatcher has petitioned the court for the land, it is now granted to benjamin hatcher; bounded by a line on mitchell's corner on woodpecker fork on evans line to goode's corner to cargill's road to worsham's line to miller's line and john wilborn's corner to the land of robert southern and back to the beginning of the woodpecker fork. in 1762, the estate of john wilborn, deceased, is brought to court by william harris, the executor, and the estate paid out to: john cox; hampton wade; roger atkinson; jacob royster; pinkethman hawkins; clement reade; gray briggs; william newsum; william harris; john ragsdale; mackerness goode, jr for re-surveying john wilborn's land; david garland. again hampton wade, who was also one of those paid by the estate of john wilborn was also the same hampton wade, who witnessed this deed re samuel harris to robert wade, sr. lunenburg co, va deed book 5, page 346, 1749, samuel harris, executor, estate adlar david, decd, of lunenburg co, va to robert wade 100 acres north of difficult creek and south of staunton river, on a line of a tree planted by adler david and william irby. wit: hampton wade; richard ellis. again, this is also definitely indicated to have been the same samuel harris, who william harris/ judith hudson sold this island/ plantation to in the staunton river which was witnessed by john cargill, sr/ rachel tinsley and william hunt, who was probably related to memucan hunt. lunenburg co, va deed book 2, page 57, 1750, william harris of lunenburg to samuel harris of same for 60 pds, grants 1 island/ plantation of 70 acres, having been a patent to william harris april 5, 1748 and bounded by the staunton river and between byrd's and cargill's islands. signed: william harris. witnesses: john cargill, william hunt. judith, wife of william harris, relinquished her right of dower. again, john cargill, sr/ rachel tinsley continued to be very involved with samuel harris in this halifax co, va area and, then, by 1770 john cargill, sr/ rachel tinsley had also moved to laurens co, sc where they continued to be very involved with my harris and goode family there. again, per these early 1749/ 1750 lunenburg co, va tithe lists; my william harris, sr/ frances goode; william harris/ judith hudson; samuel harris; my mackerness goode, sr; peter hudson, sr; john cargill, sr/ rachel tinsley, etc, were all in cornelius cargill's district. this cornelius cargill was the father of john cargill, sr/ rachel tinsley and the grandfather of the cornelius cargill, wife, sarah, who paid the tax/ memorial for my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers 150-acre grant there in laurens co, sc and who continued to very involved with my harris and goode family there. it was also this area/ district of cornelius cargill's there in lunenburg co, va which became halifax co, va. to be continued: belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8------26910
