Christopher Harris of Granville County, NC to Richard Wilkins of same County, 1 March 1779, for 150 pounds current money of North Carolina, one certain track or parcel of land on the branches of Mill Creek containing 15 acres; Beginning at a Hicory on John Hawkins line that piece of land that was Sherwood Harris, thence a South line to a large path that goes from Henry Straton's to Hawkins Mill, thence up the said path a Northwest course along a new built line that's on both sides of the said path to Hawkins line on a Hickory, thence East line to the beginning.
