    3. again, as shown, per the 1800/ 1801 estate sale of ellis palmer, who was the brother-in-law of my simcock cannon/ jane rudd, grandparents of my jane cannon harris, daniel mckie, jr, and michael blocker were purchasers of ellis palmer's estate sale.   again, this was michael blocker's son, redding/ redden blocker, who was enumerated adjacent my archibald harris/ elizabeth carter, per the 1834 ga stated census for cobb co, ga.   the info shows that michael blocker's wife was rosannah griffin, daughter of william griffin, who also died in edgefield co, sc.   william griffin is stated to have been the son of richard griffin/ mary green, who is indicated to have been related to anthony griffin, who was also a legatee of peter hudson, sr.   lunenburg co, va deed book 5, page 323, oct 3, 1758, anthony griffin of lunenburg co, va to john moore of same for 20 pds, 400 acres on draughts of sandy creek,  being part of a larger tract granted to anthony griffin by deed from the executors of peter hudson, deceased, and bounded by ashworth, new line, hudson, fontaine, williams.  signed:  anthony griffin.  no witnesses.   recorded oct 3, 1758.   lunenburg co, va deed book 5, page 327, oct 3, 1758, james burton of lunenburg co, va to james burton, jr for 20 pds,200 acres in lunenburg co, va on buffalo creek, being part of tract of 400 acres deeded to james burton from the executors of peter hudson, deceased, and bounded by james hudson, a new line, anthony griffin, perry.  signed:  james burton, his mark.  no witnesses.  recorded oct 3, 1758.   lunenburg co, va deed book 5, page 329, oct 3, 1758, james burton of lunenburg co, va to thomas burton, son of said james burton, for the love of his son, thomas burton, 200 acres on buffalo creek, being part of the tract of land deeded to james burton from the executors of peter hudson, deceased, being the tract whereon james burton now lives and bounded by james hudson, richard hudson, anthony griffin, james burton.  signed:  james burton, his mark.  no witnesses. recorded oct 3, 1758   again, this was james burton, sr's son thomas burton, who also moved to laurens co, sc and, again, as i have cited many times previously, this land my charles harris/ jane cannon owned in laurens co, sc on raborn creek adjacent lydall allen had involved a suit with thomas burton.   this charlotte co, va deed and info, which someone  sent to me, also shows that this richard griffin was also somehow related to anthony griffin.   this is indicated to have been the same green family involved with anthony griffin as that of richard griffin's wife, mary green.   Note Green in Charlotte: Charlotte Co., Va. DB 1:23, 13 Mar 1765, 1 Apr 1765 ANTHONY GRIFFEN{Griffin} of Charlotte Co. to PHILLMAN GREEN of Halifax, 50 pd, 280 a. in Charlotte on br of Buffelow Cr{Buffalo} known as Ashworth's Br.{Hite} Part of 3280 a. granted by pat. to PETER HUDSON date 24 Aug 1754, sd 280 a. being land and plantation where Richard Griffen {Richard Griffin}formerly lived. Bounded by property lines of Edward Moseley, James Burton Jr., Robert Perryman, Richard Griffen and Anthony Griffen. Wit: C. Read, Thom Read, Wm. T. Mills, W. Goode. {Buffalo Ck----see Peter Hudson & Gregory in early Lunenburg---Filmer Green?} see Richard Griffin in Halifax, Aaron Ck b-i-law Green in Mecklenburg again, james burton, sr was also named as a legatee of peter hudson, sr, and it was his daughter agnes burton who married james hudson, son of peter hudson, sr, which, again, also indicates that the mourning griffin who married peter hudson, jr was the probable daughter of this anthony griffin.   again, thomas burton, son also of james burton, sr, also moved to laurens co, sc and, again, land my charles harris owned with james holley on raborn creek, which was adjacent lydall allen, had involved a suit with thomas burton.       laurens co, sc deed book J, page 64, 1809, john clark, sheriff, to james holley and charles harris for $53, 150 acres former property of silvanus walker on raborn creek bordered on jonathan downs; lydall allen; robert creswell, sold by writ of fi fa at suit of exix and exor of thomas burton, deceased.  witnesses:  william irby;  john mc harg; john garlington, c.c   again, thomas burton married as his 1st wife nancy ann perrin,daughter of joseph perrin and this charlotte co, va/ laurens co, sc info also shows thomas burton's connections back to charlotte co, va.   CHARLOTTE COUNTY, VA, DEED BOOK 7, p. 218, Oct. 20, 1796 - A Power of Attorney between Thomas Burton and Larkin Sullivant, authenticated by the clerk of Court, County of Laurens, State of South Carolina.
