I have hit a stumbling block in my research and am hoping someone on this list might be able to assist me in my search for a Harris family who was living in Kentucky in the 1840's. One member of the family is Amanda Harris Buford - the wife of a Lt. Abe(Abraham) Buford. She was born abt 1825 in NY and died 1879 in Woodford County, KY. She had a brother who was married to the daughter of General Armstrong of Nashville . She had a sister who was married to Dr. Goodridge.
