again, i have recently been on harris hunters talking about the our new harris group 8 dna match and how this definitely relates to my own specific harris line and family not just there in gwinnett and paulding cos, ga but also back to laurens co, sc and, finally, also to my william harris, sr/ frances goode and my william harris/ judith hudson  in lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va.   so, i want to finish talking about and showing this information.   to recap, several children of alexander rutledge/ elizabeth miller married the children of william harris/ lucinda rawlins there in gwinnett co, ga and our new harris group 8 dna match descends from william harris/ lucinda rawlins there in gwinnett co, ga.   the info shows that joseph rutledge, who had moved to gwinnett co, ga from abbeville co, sc and who was the father of alexander rutledge/ elizabeth miller, was the uncle of william rutledge who owned land that bordered abbeville and laurens co, sc.    the info shows that larkin gaines witnessed william rutleges' 1823 laurens co, sc will and that both larkin gaines and possibly my archibald harris/ elizabeth carter, and, again, i do not know another archibald harris who would have been in laurens co, sc, were purchasers at elizabeth simmons walker's 1821 laurens co, sc estate sale.   the following laurens co, sc deed shows that aaron crump sold land to william rutledge there in laurens co, sc that bordered on allen mitchell.  then, the following deed shows that william wilborn sold land to allen mitchell.   william wilborn and his brother, jeremiah wilborn, and james pool were the son-in-laws of william hudson, who was the son also of our peter hudson, sr and 1/2 brother of my judith hudson harris and who, again, was one of the executors, along with my william harris, sr/ frances goode, his brother reuben harris, and mark moore of my william harris/ judith hudson's 1778 mecklenburg co, va will.   again, the following laurens co, sc deed shows that william hudson gave land there in laurens co, sc  and rutherford co, nc to his son-in-laws: james poole; william wilborn; and jeremiah wilborn.   again, the info shows that james pool married ursula hudson, daughter of william hudson in 1782 in mecklenburg co, va and although i cannot confirm, william wilborn and his brother, jeremiah wilborn, are definitely indicated to have been related to john wilborn/ judith and their son, thomas wilborn who continued to live in this woodpecker creek/ bluestone creek area near my william harris/ judith hudson.   again, both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and my william harris/ judith hudson were involved with the will and estate of john wilborn/ judith from 1757-1761 there in lunenburg co, va.   this was also james pool's brother alexander pool who witnessed my william harris/ judith hudson's 1778 mecklenburg co, va will.   again, as shown, per these lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va deeds, my william harris, sr/ frances goode sold land to john smith, which was witnessed by benjamin ragsdale and abraham crowder.   the records of mecklenburg co, va show that alexander pool and his brother james pool, sons of an alexander pool, who died in 1767 in mecklenburg co, va, were bound out to benjamin ragsdale and richard ragsdale.   the info also shows that alexander pool married angelina crowder, daughter of dr abraham crowder. the lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va deeds show that both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and his brother james harris were involved with this same abraham crowder family.   finally, this mecklenburg co, va deed shows that both abraham crowder, sr and jr and james harris, who is also definitely indicated to have been the brother of my william harris, sr/ frances goode and also son of my william harris/ judith hudson, witnessed the mecklenburg co, va deed re mark moore to thomas spain.   again, mark moore, who, again, was also an executor of my william harris/ judith hudson's 1778 mecklenburg co, va will, married rachel ragsdale, daughter of benjamin ragsdale, and  moved with this brother-in-law, peter ragsdale, also to laurens co, sc and laurens co, sc  and, again, deeds i have posted in the past shows that peter ragsdale and mark moore were also involved with my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers and our mackerness goode, sr or jr also in laurens co, sc.   this was also peter ragsdale's son, elijah ragsdale, who moved to paulding co, ga and who was also involved with my james harris/ anne cooper also there in paulding co, ga.   by showing these connections re the rutledge family with their william harris/ lucinda rawlins there in gwinnett co, ga, again, on back to laurens co, sc and finally, as i have  just shown, back to lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va totally confirms as i have talked about for  a long time now on harris hunters my own harris family connections.   sorry, to say, however what i cannot do is to say who the father of their william harris/ lucinda rawlins was and how they  seemingly relate to my specific harris line and family but i would suggest that they keep looking at my specific harris line and family to perhaps  and hopefully make a definite connection.   24 Sept. 1813 Aaron Crump sold 133 ac. to William Rutledge for $300. as above adjoining Josiah Box, Cornelius Cook. Downs, J.Q.   again, william wilborne, who married cary hudson; his brother, jeremiah wilborn, who married mary/ polly hudson and james pool, who married ursula hudson were all son-in-laws of william hudson, who moved from lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va to laurens co, sc.   laurens co, sc deed book J, page 146, 1809, william hudson to my son-in-law james pool and dau ursula; my son-in-law william wilborn and my dau cary; my son-in-law jeremiah wilborn and dau polly of edgefield dist, sc 1--two tracts on the beaverdam creek of reedy river; 2- two other tracts in rutherford co, nc on simms creek of little broad river.  wit:  anderson crowder, joseph field. john lyon, j.q.e.d.   it was this james pool's brother, alexander pool, who also witnessed my william harris/ judith hudson's 1778 mecklenburg co, va will and this is defiitely indicated, again, to have been the william hudson, who was the 1/2 brother of my judith hudson harris and who, along with my william harris, sr/ frances goode and his brother reuben harris and also mark moore, who were the executors, as shown of my william harris/ judith hudson's will.    again, the lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va info shows that both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson lived in cornelius cargill's district in 1749 / 1750 , which is the area which became halifax co, va.   then, both moved over to the bluestone creek area of lunenburg co, va, which became mecklenburg co, va in 1765.   whereas my william harris/ judith hudson lived in the woodpecker/ bluestone creek area, my william harris, sr/ frances goode lived in the middle fork of the bluestone creek area where he is shown to have consistently bought and sold land there and to have lived.   in fact, this was my william harris, sr/ frances goode who sold land in this same middle fork area  of the bluestone area to william hudson.   lunenburg co, va deed book 5, page 508, 1759, william harris of lunenburg co, va to william hudson of same for 30 pds, 100 acres on the lower side of the middle fork of bluestone creek, part of 2 tracts granted to henry thweatt and part to william harris 1749, being on william hunt's corner and the land william harris lives on.  wit:  christopher hudson; joel elam.    here again is the info showing that james pool and his brother, alexander pool were bound out to the ragsdales and also that alexander pool witnessed our william harris/ judith hudson's 1778 mecklenburg co, va will.   again, this info is from the mecklenburg co, va court records:   Alexander Poole, s/o Alexander Poole, bound out to Richard Ragsdale, 1767 Alexander Poole's estate sale money to go to Churchwardens, St.James Par. 1770   James Poole, orphan of Alexander Pool, bound out to Benjamin Ragsdale, 1770; to be bound out again 1776 by Ch'ward.   per the marriage records of mecklenburg co, va, alexander pool, son also of alexander pool and brother of james pool, married in 1790 mecklenburg co, va to angelina crowder, who, per the info was the daughter of dr abraham crowder, jr.        Mecklenburg Co, Va Marriages:           Alexander Pool m.
