i am also recently corresponding with someone who descends from my judith hudson harris' brother james hudson, sr, who died in 1765 in charlotte co, va  and who has sent me a copy of james hudson, sr's will and estate record, saying that i could post this on harris hunters so that i could talk about connections if i would say that the will and estate papers were found and abstracted by elise cobb rumley, now deceased, but who had spent a long time researching their james hudson, sr and james hudson, jr and their families.   first here is a copy of this will and estate info re our related james hudson, sr/ agnes burton and, as i say, i want to post and talk about these involved connections.   again, this info was studied and absracted by elise cobb rumley:    Charlotte County, Virginia Will Bk. 1 pg 2 In the name of God, Amen, the second of May one thousand seven hundred & sixtly five I james Hudson, Sen. of County Staunton? Pg 3.At a court held for Charlotte the first day of July 1765. The within written last (inserted) will and Testament of James Hudson Deceased was proven in Court (missing word) by James Burton Senr and David Hudson the Executors the re in Named and the same was proved by the oaths of two Witnesses there to subscribed and ordered to be Recorded and on the motion of James Hudson one of the Executors made and oath.Law Certificated is Granted him for obtaining a Probate of the said Will in due form in Giving security whereupon he Together with WILLIAM HILL AND JOHN BOND (BONE)? his security. Entered into and Aknowledged the bond for that Purpose and David Hudson the other Executor Relinquished his (missing word) to Execution of the said Will in due form. READ TESTE again, james hudson, sr married agnes burton, daughter of james burton, sr/ judith also there in lunenburg co, va and some of these important connections re james burtons, sr and his son, thomas burton, i have also already talked about previously on harris hunters.   again, this was also james burton, sr's son, thomas burton, who also moved to laurens co, sc and land my charles harris, son of my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers and grandson of my william harris, sr/ frances goode, owned in laurens co, sc had involved a previous suit with the estate of thomas burton.   laurens co, sc deed book J, page 64, 1809, john clark, sheriff, to  james holley and charles harris for $53, 150 acres former property of  silvanus walker on raborn creek bordered on jonathan downs; lydall  allen; robert creswell, sold by writ of fi fa at suit of exix and exor  of thomas burton, deceased.  witnesses:  william irby;  john mc harg; john  garlington, c.c   to be continued:   belva harris cauthen  harris dna group 8 --------26910
